how to Enroll:

Click "Buy," and you'll be prompted to create a an account. Create an account, and save your log-in and password. This is the information you'll always use to access the certification program. Then bookmark the course page, as this is where you'll access all program materials. Finally, once inside, check out the welcome material, create a profile, and say hello.

Enrollment Dates:

Enrollment for the fall 2023 Feel Good Effect Coaching Certification opens September 25th and closes October 1st. The last day to enroll is October 1st at 5:00 pm PDT. If you miss the enrollment window you will be placed on the waitlist for 2024.

Time Requirements:

All certification trainings are delivered online, and can be viewed in the comfort of your own home. The only thing you need to participate is a good internet connection and a computer or phone. When considering the time commitment, know that like most things, you’ll get out of the program what you put into it. In general, plan on devoting around 5 hours per week to interacting with training materials, participating in live calls, and interacting within the coaching community, as well as additional time for practicing your coaching skills.

Certification Access:

We host The Feel Good Effect Coaching Certification program on an online learning platform called Mighty Network, meaning you can engage, learn and reflect mindfully, away from the noise of social media and other distractions. We intentionally host our community off of Facebook, so you can participate knowing your privacy and attention are protected. For your ease and convenience, once enrolled, you can view all materials and participate in the community via the free Mighty Network app (iOS and Android). Materials and the community are also available on desktop.

Graduation requirments:

We certify coaches who have learned how to implement the Feel Good Effect work in their own lives; and the lives of clients; and who approach the process of coaching from a place of service. We do not give tests or exams, so you’ll earn a coaching certification by actively participating in the program, including viewing weekly lessons and engaging in the online community.

Active Status:

We believe ongoing professional development is essential to effective coaching. Upon graduation, you will have the opportunity to join the Active Coaches membership, which will allow you to retain active status as a Feel Good Effect Coach, be featured in the coaches directory on thefeelgoodeffect.com, and receive new versions of training materials and guides as the program is updated.

Accreditation in the Coaching Industry:

It’s important for potential coaches to understand that there’s no regulation or governing accreditation in the coaching industry. There are, however, several private institutions attempting to regulate their style of coaching. Again, there is no government body or other non-profit authority accrediting this industry at this time Here at The Feel Good Effect we did not, nor do we plan on, applying for certification through the International Coaching Federation or any other organization claiming authority over regulating the industry because our approach, our frameworks, and our models are quite different from the ICF. Ultimately we have found that clients will hire you based on how knowledgeable and ethical you are, as well as how well you can help them solve problems and get meaningful results.
